How We Started

T‑Rex Plumbing was founded in 2011. We started with one goal: do the job right, and treat every customer like a neighbour, because most of them are.

15 years later, we're still based in the Southern Suburbs, with a confirmed recent job completed in Claremont. From there we cover all of Cape Town, from Hout Bay to the City Bowl and the Waterfront.

Trevor Terpend, Founder

Trevor Terpend founded and still runs T‑Rex Plumbing. He personally replies to every single customer review, good or bad, and stays involved in the day-to-day work.

Trevor started T‑Rex Plumbing in 2011 after his own family went through a loss that left them needing plumbing help. He decided to learn the trade properly, so he'd always have a real skill to use helping people who needed it.

He's got about 15 years in the trade, including heating, gas and air conditioning work in the UK. Back in Cape Town he's also done commercial work, including at the Bloembeek Meats factory.
